No Sweat Bet Conversion Calculator
What is a no sweat bet? A no sweat bet (sometimes called a risk-free bet or first-bet insurance) refunds your stake as a bonus bet if the wager loses. The key difference from a bonus bet is that your own cash is genuinely at risk on the first wager, so the hedge math is different: you are hedging a real-money bet whose downside is partially cushioned by a bonus you would then still have to convert.
Enter your no sweat bet amount, the odds you are placing it at, the hedge odds on the opposite side, and the rate at which you can realistically convert a bonus bet to cash. The calculator returns the exact hedge stake that locks in the same profit whichever side wins. Because the bonus only arrives when the no sweat leg loses, longer odds on the promo leg usually convert better. Visit the Promo Converter page for live no sweat opportunities with the hedge already found for you.
Hedge stake = (no sweat profit + no sweat stake - bonus cash value) / (1 + hedge profit multiplier). Example: $250 at +280, hedged at -343, converting bonus bets at 70%. No sweat profit is $700, bonus cash value is $250 x 0.70 = $175, and the hedge multiplier at -343 is 100/343 = 0.2915. Hedge stake = (700 + 250 - 175) / 1.2915 = $600.06. If the no sweat wins: $700 - $600.06 = $99.94. If it loses: the hedge pays $174.94, minus the $250 stake, plus a $250 bonus worth $175 = $99.94. Either way you lock in $99.94, a 40.0% conversion on the $250 promo.
